Excellent food. Ordered loaded chicken fries half with cheese, which were honestly some of the best fries I’ve had in a while. We also ordered a chicken shawarma wrap (they were out of beef) and a chicken rice platter.

I’ve been eagerly waiting to try Babas Shawarma after seeing their “coming soon” post in the GA Halal Food Group on Facebook. Finally got the chance, and I’m glad to say it lived up to my high expectations! The shawarma and chicken over rice were both hot, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. They also offer “BYO chips”—a unique and tasty twist. Just a suggestion: opt for chips without strong or bold flavors so they don’t overpower the chicken. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering how expensive eating out has become lately. As someone who looks for Halal options, it’s wonderful to have a new food truck in this part of the city. The owners are hardworking, passionate, and genuinely kind people, which makes the experience even better. One minor critique—the pita used in the shawarma was a bit dry. But otherwise, everything was excellent. It’s disappointing to hear that the city of Suwanee hasn’t given them permission to stay, so they’ll be moving to Norcross soon. Wishing them the best! Highly recommended if you’re a foodie looking for delicious Halal food.

New food truck in town. Generous portions, well priced and clean. I am a huge fan of their beef dishes but chicken is also good. I don’t know how they cook their rice but it is delicious. Pomegranate lemonade is amazing.

Love the fact that the Shawarma is authentic and not just a whitewashed veggie wrap. This place clearly values authentic recipes. The sauces are also super unique and spice level is great!

Best item on the menu is loaded chicken fries. Wraps are decent. Was not a fan of the rice platter. Didnt like the sauce and the chicken tasted dry in rice. No issues with the service. Will definitely return for the fries.
